Certificate IV Financial Services - Bookkeeping
Certificate IV Financial Services - Bookkeeping
With today’s complex world of GST and tax, it is vital that bookkeepers have the skills required to perform their work competently and accurately. The Certificate IV of Financial Services - Bookkeeping course was designed to provide these skills.
The new legislation for BAS Agents mentions this qualification as satisfying the educational requirement to be BAS Agent. Any contract bookkeeper who is relied on to produce figures for the Business Activity Statement will need to be a BAS Agent and have this qualification or similar. So why not start yours now?
We offer the course as a partner of the Bookkeepers Institute of Australia (BIA) and provide this as a nationally recognised qualification.
We currently offer it via distance education with email support, phone tutorials and face to face for those in the local area. We are not currently in a position to offer classroom training on the Gold Coast. We hope to offer this option at a later date, Classroom training is available at BIA’s Mt Gravatt centre in Brisbane.

•If you have studied a similar subject we may be able to map it into our subjects and give you full or partial credit.
•You may already have a number of the skills required from your previous experience or employment. Through our Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) process we can use evidence you are able to provide to assist us in assessing you.
•Even if you know a topic well, it is necessary to prove this. One of the easiest ways is to simply do our assessment tasks.
